Team Poise had a fantastic weekend in Belton. Pending UKC verification we have 2 NEW CHAMPIONS and 3 legs toward a Grand Champion.

Blaze was BM/Best of Winners to finish his UKC Championship (pending UKC confirmation). He earned all of his points and majors this weekend with Mandy Rose at the end of the lead.
Ember was Best Female again. She is halfway to her UKC Championship. Congrats to her co-owner Kim Eden for doing an excellent job training and showing her.

Team Poise had a busy weekend at the North American Coton Association show in Belton, Texas. The big news is we came home with two new Champion Boxers and one Grand Champion Aussie, a Reserve Best Puppy in Match and some nice class wins. All wins are pending UKC confirmation.

We accomplished one of our goals this year by getting a Grand Championship on our bred by girl Divinity. UKC GCH Poise's Sweet Confection. Divinity earned her Grand Championship in only 3 weekends of specialing. She has been the #1 Australian Shepherd in UKC for all of 2015. Divinity completed her Grand under Judge Fred Lanting with a Best of Breed and Group 4 placement.

Ivy, AKC/ASCA/ UKC CH Cedar Hill Secret Garden had her debut as a special this weekend shown by Mandy. They brought home two Reserve Champion wins. Quite the accomplishment considering nine weeks ago she was giving birth to a litter of adorable puppies. The judges agreed she was in great shape for newly weaned mother of four! (file photo)

We took Ivy's puppies to show in the match and they all did very well. The superstar was Blaze- Poises Blazed by Dragon Fire. He trotted away with a Reserve Best Puppy in Match in a large entry of 30 puppies. His brother Coal also earned a Best of Breed puppy.

DJ AKC/ U-CH Windlake Christmas of Gold (handled by Gayla) & Alfa U-CH Windlake Bayou Beauty (handled by Mandy) each earned their first Champion class win and Best of Breed.

Barry- Bur-Way Poise'd On Blueberry Hill Won his class and went on to get 4 Reserve Best Male wins on his UKC debut. He had a great time in the ring and made a few more conquest this weekend. Ruby and Pi also made their debut in UKC and competed in a large puppy class. Pi was limping in the first show so Mandy pulled her and didn't show again until the very last show where she got a 2nd place out of 5. Waidus and Ruby had fun in the ring together.

Riot- Benaha's Let's Start A Riot (Left- Owned by Callie Fort) made his UKC debut and completed his Championship in the first 3 shows with 3 Best of Breeds and a Group 1, 2 & 3 placement. Steele - Benaha's Matter Of The Heart (Right- Owned by Gayla Everitt) also completed her Championship by earning Best of Breed and a Group 4 in the last show. Riots son Rowdy competed in the puppy match and earned a Best of Breed Puppy.

Divinity is still at the top of UKC standings. Now we just need to go to a few more shows if we have any hope of staying on top! Hopefully she stays in coat and ready to show. LOL

Congrats to Waidus & Gayla on their Junior rankings. Waidus is currently sitting on top as the #1 UKC Open Junior. Gayla is on his coat tails at #5. I'm sure they will be in a tight race this year!

We are also proud to announce they both received their invite to Premier. Kalamazoo here we come!

Holly (CH Clearlake Heard Thru the Grapevine) & Whitney (Alfas I'm Worth It) are both in the Top Ten in UKC. Alfa should be getting in the rankings soon. Congrats to the Pappies.

Team Poise had a great weekend at the show in McKinney.

Waidus and Zetta won the Am Bred class 5 out of 5 shows and earned a Reserve Winners Bitch to a 5 point major under ASCA Breeder judge Margi Floyd! Great job!

Divinity won her class 4 out of the 5 shows and earned a Reserve Winners Bitch to a 5 point major under AKC judge John Booth.

Timber was the rock star of the weekend winning his class 4 out of the 5 shows and earning a Reserve Winners Dog to a 5 point major under Senior Breeder Judge Lori Acierto and a Winners Dog/ Best of Winners for a 5 point major under Senior Breeder judge Shawna Beaty. This is he second major in ASCA! Congrat to MariJo and Julianna on their boys wins.

Team Poise Rocking the Ring

At the NETAEDA UKC show this weekend.

We are proud to announce we brought home 3 new Champions. (Pending UKC verification)

Final results for the weekend:
Waidus and Zetta won the open junior class 2 out of 3 shows.

Waidus and Zetta won their class for her second competition win. She just needs one more to complete her Championship.

Gayla and Alf won the open junior class and went on to earn Best Junior Handler after a very entertaining episode in the best junior ring. It is never fun when your dog poops in the ring but she had the whole building laughing with her as she tried desperately to keep Alfa from doing her business.

Gayla and Steele, 3 BOB and a group 2 & 3. She just needs 25 points and a competition win to complete her Championship. Congrats to Paw Paw George on his girls' wins.

Gayla and Alfa earned 3 BOB's a Group 3 placement and 9 breed points!

Gayla and Sioux got Best Veteran and Best Altered. Sioux got Best Male 2 out of 3 times.

Gayla and Truffles got Reserve Best Female.

Ruby and Mandy got BOB puppy. Ruby's breeder was also at the show and came by to say hi.

Timber and Mandy earned 2 Best Male and a Best of Winners to finish his Championship. Congrats to MariJo and Julianna on their new UKC Champion.

Whitney 3 Best Female, 1 Best of Winners and a New Champion.

Barry won his novice puppy class 2 out 3 shows. He also got some loving from his breeder Patty Smith who drove in from Georgia.

Dev got Best Altered Male and Best Altered on Sunday to complete his Championship. He earned the rest of his points from the intact classes.

Divinity won the Champion class and BOB on Sunday with a nice sized Aussie entry. That is her second Champion class win. Three more to go for her Grand.

Best of all we got to meet a bunch of AHT people this weekend! So proud to be a part of this wonderful breed.

Winning day at the Denton UKC show

What a busy day for Team Poise! Waidus won his junior class both shows today.

Gayla showed Steele (Boxer) to two BOB'S and a group 3 and a group 2.

Whitney won her class to earn her last competition win and finished her UKC Championship this am. We left her in the classes to help make a company win for Celine but Whitney won again at the pm show.

Gayla and Alfa won BOB at both shows today and earned some breed points!

Barry got 2 out of 3 in novice puppy this morning. This evening he decided he'd rather play than show and lost to his Brother Kane.

Ms Ruby and Mandy earned a BOB puppy in the PM show so proud of them!

We also had some exciting wins in the Aussie ring. Mr. Timber and Mandy walked away with Best Male and Best of Winners this morning.

Cash man showed well but no wins.

Gayla and Sioux got BIMBS Veteran & Altered this morning and Reserve in both in the PM show.

In the PM show Gayla got Reserve Champion with Truffles.

Waidus and Zetta won her class for her second competition win. One more and she will be a Champion!

I hope I got everyone. We are going to bed now.
